N30 Strike Bristol

One day, I was walking along the street to the bus stop on my way to studio, when I try to see the number of the bus, i feel that some strange thing had blocked my sight. When i go near to it, it says: All Out For N30, oh my god, there's a strike on the next day!! 

有一天，我走在路上，经过巴士站，奇怪的有一张纸挡着了我的视线，走近一看，写着：全部出来N30。这啥啊？再看仔细点，原来第二天有罢工！！兴奋地等到了第二天，走上街去瞧瞧。

"良禽择木而栖”出自《孔子》

还有，贞明夫人一面为丈夫戴正头上的黑色官帽，一面又说：“有道是：良禽择木而栖，贤臣择主而侍。” 良禽择木。

贞明夫人所引的“良禽择木”是孔子在卫国时说过的话。当时卫灵公寻问孔子关于作战布阵的事情，孔子立即回答：“俎豆之事，则尝闻之矣；军旅之事未尝学也。(注：祭祀礼仪之类的事，我听说过；用兵打仗的事，我没有学过。)” 之后，孔子便催促学生们准备离开卫国。学生们不知其故，于是孔子说道：“鸟择木，无木择鸟。” 此言后来演变为“良禽择木而栖，贤臣择主而侍”孔子认为，君子遇事之时应看清在哪才能使自己的聪明才智得到最大程度的运用。

Chinese idiom: "Liang Qin Ze Mu Er Qi" , means: A good bird will choose a tree that is suitable for it, to stay and build it's nest.

Madam Zheng Ming said these words to her husband when putting on the black hat that represent as a Minister on him, "some said that, a good bird will choose a tree that is suitable for it, to stay and build it's nest, a good minister will choose a good king to serve."

The idiom that quoted by Madam Zheng Ming is the word that said by Confucius at Wei Kingdom. The Duke of Wei ask for opinion from Confucius about the battlefield lineup issues. And Confucius tell him that: I know about the matters of worshiping and courtesy, but never thought about battle and war. After that, Confucius urged his students to prepare to leave Wei Kingdom. The students feel strange about this, then Confucius told them: "Only the bird choose wood, never the wood choose bird." and this word become "a good bird will choose a tree that is suitable for it, to stay and build it's nest, a good minister will choose a good king to serve." Confucius think that: a gentleman should always think about whether the situation or place is suitable for him to show his talent and intelligence before making a decision.

余囚北庭，坐一土室。室广八尺，深可四寻。单扉低小，白间短窄，污下而幽暗。当此夏日，诸气萃然：雨潦四集，浮动床几，时则为水气；涂泥半朝，蒸沤历澜，时则为土气；乍晴暴热，风道四塞，时则为日气；檐阴薪爨，助长炎虐，时则为火气；仓腐寄顿，陈陈逼人，时则为米气；骈肩杂遝，腥臊汗垢，时则为人气；或圊溷、或毁尸、或腐鼠，恶气杂出，时则为秽气。叠是数气，当之者鲜不为厉。而予以孱弱，俯仰其间，於兹二年矣，幸而无恙，是殆有养致然尔。然亦安知所养何哉？孟子曰：「吾善养吾浩然之气。」彼气有七，吾气有一，以一敌七，吾何患焉！况浩然者，乃天地之正气也，作正气歌一首。

The lyrics of this melody are a famous essay in the collected works of Wen Tianxiang (1236-1282). Written in 30 five-character couplets (60 lines), they protest the conciliatory attitude of the Song dynasty towards the aggressive northern neighbors.

Within the folder you are required to submit a series of tasks that could be used in the future of an application for exhibiting in a contemporary gallery. You need to include the following:

1. A well designed Artist CV that can be used for self promotion within Fine Arts Field. One side of A4
2. A formal artist statement used for applications and work opportunities that clearly identifies what you do as an artist and what your underlying ideas are for this practice. 500 Words.
3. Clear and informative documentation of your own practice. You need to choose either: -a Power-point compilation on CD of 10 still images of your work or - a short DVD show-reel only if you make time based work (such as animations, short films, website or performance). Maximum 5 minutes.

(The Difference between: Reflective Statement, Artist Statement and Proposal: Reflective Statement is kind of an awareness of your development, Artist Statement is a public statement that present to outside. Proposal is a document for you to communicate between you, the artist and the gallery on how to exhibit your work.)
