It is well composed, setting the standard for innovative printmaking because it goes beyond the boundaries of the medium, and, at the same time, always challenging the viewer. - Tanjung Heritage Award 2009 Judges

This artwork showing “an open door leading to a memory landscape” has been executed by the use of an embossed drypoint, etching technique. The juxtaposition of the white with the tower cranes in silhouette invites the viewer to look at the artwork from varying distances, from near and far and yet feel the changing intensities of the compositions. The artist has succeeded in creating an illusion of an old building from what is in reality a series of construction cranes. - Tanjung Heritage Award 2008 Judges

Figure Study - A Pak
2009
Ruby Art Studio
I like to paint figure, as this is my strongest ability among all painting method. I develop my style from rapid sketch practices, where I always draw a complete figure in a very short time. The motive of the practice is to train one person's ability in catching a figure and compose the action field in a very limited period. It improve the way I observe things. Although I'm less painting figure within this period. But the skill of painting figure is what I always proud of myself. - The Artist
