Tanjung Heritage Award 2008

Before the day, I've been in KL. Just to go back to my college to meet my dear lecturer, Ah Kim~!!! Who had been teaching me printmaking for the last 1 year. So happy to share my honor with him, with our hometown's Dou Sha Pia~

The day, I've been to KLCC earlier, and go to look around in Kinokuniya to find some color scheme book, as I am Sensitivity Color Blinded, (am I wrong typing like this~?) and find some idea for my "system backup".about the time, met with our college's college and Miko, Chai Heng, Cin Hao and Ah Gan, who is my cousin and he had been winning two awards in this two years~~ What a wonderful result... Hope I can fight for my own reputation like him in future..

Once enter the venue, we've been waiting for about 1 hour.. to wait the VIPs.. as they are the Very Important Person because they sign the cheque hahaha. The city view is pretty good there~

wahaha~ 25th floor of Menara Maxis, just beside KLCC

and when all the VIPs had come, the ceremony then begin.

the Chief Judge is the Chairman of the National Art Gallery~ until now I know that Tanjung Heritage award is a stately Competition~ And the prize was giving by the Chairman of Tanjung Heritage Organization Mr. Wang Siew Lan and The Minister of Art, Culture and Heritage~ When i was taking the prize he said :"Wow.. you dress nicer than me~ who's the tailor~? not bad"haha~ quite happy at that moment.

After the prize taking ceremony is a small presentation to the VIPs about our artwork.. hardly to explain in English because my English are damn poor.. thanks the Judges had wrote some statement for me and those are what I'd want to say~~ They said that they had a big discussion in my artwork.. hmm.. Encouraged, must try harder next year~~

Met some guys here.. Mohd Ali, who is a student from UITM, he's winning the 3rd prize of Oil and Acrylic, Sze Hunt, from Alfa International College, he won the 3rd of the Watercolor category, and Wayne from MIA who had won the 3rd of Mix medium~ Finally(the last gal I know in the whole Ceremony) Helen who had won the 1st of Oil and Acrylic~

Their artworks are awesome. 3 of us (Cin Hao, Tee Sheng and me) who's graduated from Kluang CHHS AnD had won 5 prizes~ GREAT JOB~!! and our college had won 9 awards out of 18.

Hmm.. hope I'll be there next year~ see you guys~~
